Ecoverde is a business that is inserted within the domestic and international market of auxiliary chemicals for the paper production process, water treatment, systems, machines and equipment for the industry. Ongoing investments and significant business partnerships have, together, allowed the company to increase its presence on the paper industry market, combining an integrated logistics process with a skilled and qualified staff capable of customizing solutions for a sector that demands increasingly precise and competent answers to its needs. The continuous investments made in terms of customer support services (laboratory, field instrumentation) and our fortunate location, have permitted our personnel to expand skills and competencies in direct contact with the daily needs of manufacturers, being fully involved in their technical and logistical difficulties and leveraging the possibility of not being bound by rigid technical-commercial strategies


Assessing together issues such as process chemical composition, water treatment systems, installations, equipment and finishing of the end product leads to a customer-specific solution that translates into an asset for the company.

 To guarantee constant commitment in the application of these principles and orient our activities towards a continuous improvement, the Company has set and keeps active the objective of integrating the Environment, Safety and Health Management System to the Quality Management System already certified based on standard ISO 9001:2008 with respective reference to standards ISO 14001:2004 and ISO 45001:2018. The commitment of the Management to pursuing this goal is expressed by the involvement of all employees, who are prohibited from engaging in any conduct that violates the principles of this policy. To this end this declaration intends to define the following priority objectives:

  • Provide services conforming to the requirements foreseen by the reference standards (UNI EN ISO 9001, UNI EN ISO 14001 and UNI ISO 45001) and to the principles of fairness and loyalty towards the market and employees, in order to continuously improve efficacy and effectiveness of the Management System;
  • manage activities in full respect of the current laws and regulations, the contractual requirements established and the other regulations the company subscribes to according to the specific policies and sector-specific laws and regulations, specifically referring to:
    • the laws and regulations concerning budgeting reports and any other type of required accounting documentation;
    • the provisions protecting personal data and privacy pursuant to G.D.P.R. (UE Regulations 2016/679 - Law 101/2018 and s.m.)
  • pursue the satisfaction of express or implied demands of Customers;
  • always achieve greater visibility on the market by enlarging it and improving the company image;
  • establish efficient cooperation with supplier companies, whose products and services are required to comply with the respect of human rights and avoid collaborations with organisations that do not share and/or comply with these human rights obligations;
  • develop new products and new technologies to keep oneself always in line with the specific market demands;
  • adopt principles, standards, solutions and suitable technologies to guarantee the reduction in company risk to protect health, security, the environment and public safety;
  • constantly and sustainably increase its own staff's competence, as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of its actions through:
    • the definition, knowledge, control and development of company processes;
    • the provision of resources, structures and appropriate equipment for company processes;
    • the provision of adequate human resources by guaranteeing the training and ongoing update of the personnel according to the task and promotion of the exchange of experiences and knowledge;
  • guarantee a healthy and safe work environment for the company personnel, suitable means and plants to achieve maximum performance of productive processes;
  • prohibit corrupt practices, illegal favours, collusive behaviour, and requests, both direct and/or through third parties, for personal favours and career benefits for themselves or for others 
  • ensure that the relationships between its employees and national, community and international public institutions, as well as public officials or public service officers, comply with applicable regulations and are governed by the general principles of fairness and loyalty.
  • With regard to employees, the company commits to:
    • ensure compliance with applicable workplace regulations (voluntary and mandatory) with specific reference to the ones regarding the services offered and the management of human resources;
    • avoid using or encouraging the use of minor-aged workers and, if workers below the minimum age limit are employed, apply the necessary measures to ensure their education;
    • prohibit the use of any type of forced labour;
    • provide employees with a healthy and safe workplace, by also promoting adequate training activities, safety awareness campaigns and accident prevention plans;
    • respect and protect the right to freedom of association and collective bargaining;
    • encourage a workplace that is free of any type of discrimination;prohibit physical punishment or abuse of employees;
    • do not extend the standard working hours and applicable regulations established in individual labour contracts;
    • provide a salary that can meet the basic needs of employees, according to local minimum wage standards;
  • ensure the utmost confidentiality in the treatment of information, documents, studies, initiatives, designs, contracts, plans, etc., or that become known through the performance of its activity, with specific reference to the documentation that can harm the reputation or the interests of the company and its customers.
  • pursue the commitment to the prevention of accidents and occupational diseases;
  • minimise the environmental impact by optimising waste management, the implementation of actions to reduce possible soil contamination occurrences;
  • procure electricity from green energy sources and evaluate the adoption of plant and infrastructure solutions aimed at optimizing energy consumption and the use of renewable energy resources;
  • undertake paths of sustainability and environmental reporting, in order to achieve the maximum benefits in economic, environmental and distinctive terms, strengthening its 'Green' image on the market;
  •  reduce GHG (greenhouse gas) emissions;
  • Continually re-examine the forenamed principles and perform effective periodic checks of their application by guaranteeing constant information of the parties concerned. 

 The Company Policy has been defined by the Management in conformity to the analysis of the business context, demands, possibilities and purposes of the company; it is periodically re-examined in terms of its suitability and ongoing fitness during Reviews of the Management and becomes available to its employees and all parties concerned. During Reviews of the Management specific improvement objectives are also set, as are the ways to measure their level of implementation. All the personnel is obliged to cooperate in the implementation of what is described and is invited to contribute to the continuous optimisation of this System.


Ecoverde SPA, pursuing its ongoing objective of corporate improvement, obtained certification of its Quality Management System in 2003, and is currently conformant to ISO 9001:2008 Standards. The founding principle of the system is to operate in respect of all regulations (customer requirements, laws, corporate policies) in order to reach objectives that meet all pre-defined customer requirements needs.

Over the years, this has come to mean managing the efficiency and efficacy of company processes through know-how and close monitoring of the same processes.

In 2014, Ecoverde S.P.A. has also successfully achieved an Environment – Safety System for the purpose of ISO 14001:2015 and the UNI ISO 45001:2018. In this way, the company intends to voluntarily monitor and continuously improve all workplace and environmental safety issues.
